Official Referees must be current members of the NSSA and pass the NSSA Referee Standard Examination. Referees meeting these requirements are listed in the searchable referee database on the NSSA website.
Non-members may also take the referee exam, but those passing the test are identified as Associate Referees and are not listed on the website.
Referee credentials expire on October 31 each year and must be renewed annually to retain referee status.
