Instructors and Referees
NSSA's Certified Instructor program prepares instructors to train shooters at all levels. For new shooters, a qualified instructor can help make that first experience an enjoyable one, chipping away at beginner's frustration and providing a good foundation for future shooting fun. At higher levels, NSSA instructors can shorten the journey toward any shooter's goals. NSSA referees are vital to the fair and consistent operation of skeet shoots.

Mental Rehearsal For Better Skeet Shooting
by Skeet Shooting Tips Mental rehearsal is a technique practiced by professional sportsmen and is one of the biggest assets a skeet shooter can have, especially if they are learning skeet shooting as a competitive sport. When practicing this technique the shooter imagines the outcome of the shot in their minds eye just before calling for the shot. In order to effectively use the technique for mental rehearsal, and awareness skills, the shooter must... [more...]
