Al Anglace Obituary
We regret to report that Al Anglace, founder of Connecticut Travelers Sporting Clays, has passed away. In June, 1987, Al Anglace and six friends started a monthly shoot that grew into the Connecticut Travelers Sporting Clays Association, a club that now has over 500 members and a mission to support sporting clays. NA FITASC Grand Prix Moved
The North American FITASC Grand Prix event that was to have been held in Calgary, Alberta, in July has been moved to a new venue and rescheduled to allow better attendance and help grow the event. It will now be hosted by Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake, MN, in conjunction with the Players Championship and Gun Makers Showdown on Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17. Flint Oak Shows NA FITASC Layout
With 5000 acres of terrain and facilities to work with, Flint Oak shooting resort in Fall River, Kansas, has promised to offer shooters at the North American FITASC Championship a wide variety of scenery and landscapes. Caribou Invites Public to US Open
The 2012 U.S. Open at the Caribou Gun Club, in Le Sueur, MN, continues to grow, with 790 shooters registered to date. The Caribou Gun Club grounds are being prepped for the shooters and 40+ sponsors and vendors. Learn Advanced Clays Techniques
NSCA is hearing rave reviews on a sporting clays academy focusing on advanced fundamentals and techniques and taught by NSCA Level III instructors Rick Smith and Donny Roth.
