The week-long event gets underway at the National Shooting Complex on September 28, 2012, and concludes on October 5.
Some changes have been implemented for this year’s shoot to encourage greater participation in the Main Doubles event and the Champion of Champions event. The Main Doubles event will be moved back to Monday, October 1; rotation times remain the same as previously, beginning at 9 a.m. All other events will move forward one day.
The Champion of Champions event will be open to everyone and will be shot as an option on the last box of the four guns (12, 20, 28 and .410) in the main event, with the same payouts as before and for a World Championship Title. If you plan to attend the World Shoot for the first time, there is an opportunity for you to have free registration through your state or zone. If you’re a returning shooter, you can shoot free by bringing first-time participants with you.
Visit the World Skeet Championship web page for registration information, Hall of Fame Banquet form, Ladies Tour registration, and other materials.
