Families from around the country traveled to Stockton, California, last week to support their Junior, Sub-Junior, and Collegiate shooters in the annual Junior World Skeet Championships. Stockton Trap and Skeet Club hosted the July 26-29 event.
Lindenwood University shooters dominated the Collegiate division, with the top three shooters hailing from that university. Cole Rommel was the Collegiate champion, Dominic Buoni was runner-up, and Nick Boerboon placed third.
In the Junior (under 18) division, Quinten Smith was champion, Noah Brennan was runner-up, and Holden Huff finished third.
Jared Davenport was the Sub-Junior (under 14) champion, followed by runner-up Gordon Novak and third-place Jake Ratcliffe.
Diana Riddle was the Junior Ladies Champion. Hannah Mitsch was runner-up, and Jenna Buoni was third.
