Radulovich, John, Suter Win TX, CA, NJ State Titles


David Radulovich has won his second major championship in as many weeks, taking the HOA title last weekend at the Texas State Championship hosted by San Angelo Claybird Association. The event drew 418 competitors, including 137 Master class shooters.

Runner-up was Brad Kidd, who was also the high-scoring Texas resident shooter, and Scott Robertson finished third. Janet McDougall was the Lady winner. Mike Wilgus swept the sub-gauge categories, winning 20 Gauge, 28 Gauge, and .410 Bore events.

Tom John was the HOA Champion at the California State Shoot at Raahauge’s Shooting Enterprises, followed by Curtis Lessel, runner-up, and Chris Stephens, third. Alexandra Wampler won the Lady championship. The shoot attracted 215 shooters.

Christian Suter was the HOA winner of the New Jersey State Championship, while Diane Sorantino won the in-state title Sunday at Cedar Creek Sporting Clays. Gary Phillips was runner-up overall, and David Trudeau was third.

All three of last weekend’s state championships were among the 17 offering 50/50 Lewis Class options benefiting Team USA.
