Hyde, Walters Win Iowa, Idaho Shoots

Last weekend, two State Championships were awarded at shoots in Idaho and Iowa. Topping the 134 shooters in the main event at the Idaho shoot was champion Kelly Hyde. Runner-up was Matthew J. Coffin, and third place was Gerald Matys. In-state runner-up was Frank Liebschwager and third was Mark Johnson. Resident Lady winner was Stephanie Hyer.

Kelly Hyde also won the Preliminary Sporting Clays event and the Pump Gun competition. Frank Liebschwager won the 5-Stand, 20-Gauge, and 28-Gauge events. William Hu Hancock won two events, the .410 Bore and Side X Side. Clifford Branch won the Super Sporting competition.

The Idaho State Championship was held at Burley Trap Club and Sporting Clays, with a total of 152 shooters. Other winners and scores are at Winscoreonline.com.

Highland Hideaway Hunting was the host club for the Iowa shoot. Steve Walters was HOA Champion, also winning the Preliminary, .410 Bore, and 28 Gauge events.

HOA runner-up Mark Anthony Conway was also the top shooter in 5-Stand and 12-Gauge competitions. Jack Urich finished third overall, Rick Peters won the 20-Gauge event, and Laura Olsen was the top Lady shooter.
