Skeet Immersion Youth Camp

Wagon Wheel Sporting Club near Columbus and Ft. Benning, GA, will offer a two-day Skeet Camp for young shooters, July 14-15, giving youth the opportunity to learn skeet fundamentals from NSSA Certified Instructors.

The shooting immersion clinic will focus on safety, target leads and acquisition, foot positions, and many other fundamentals of skeet shooting. NSSA’s Chief Instructor Ralph Aaron, Master Instructor Doug Thompson, and other Certified Instructors will conduct the skeet camp.

The camp can accommodate up to 25 shooters, from 10 to 19 years of age. They must be physically capable of handling a gun and shooting approximately 10 rounds of skeet (25 targets per round). The club will provide the targets and the appropriate 12 and 20 gauge ammo.

Cost for the skeet camp is $125, which includes target fees, ammunition, instruction, and lunch for two days. Daily activities begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
