‘Players’ Event at MN Horse & Hunt

Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club is hosting its annual Players Championship and Gun Makers Showdown on Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17. Dave Peckham from England will set the targets for the event.

The Players Championship will have eight old-style parcours for the 200-target FITASC event shot over three days, and for sporting clays, shooters will shoot 200 targets over two days. There will also be a 100-target Prelim.

Simultaneously with the Players Championship is the Gun Makers Showdown. Beretta, Blaser, Browning, Krieghoff and Perazzi have all contributed to a cash purse of $10,000. When registering, shooters will identify the brand of gun they will shoot, then compete in both the FITASC and sporting clays events. The four shooters from the gun maker with the top combined overall score will divide the $10,000 purse. There is no charge to the shooters to participate in the Gun Makers Showdown.

Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club has also made an offer to Team USA: For every current Team USA member who participates in the FITASC and sporting clays events at the Players Championship and Gun Makers Showdown, the club will make a $100 donation to Team USA.
