The National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) and National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) announced today that they are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Marketing Coordinator.

The review and selection process will begin March 1, 2012, and is expected to be completed and a decision announced by March 15, 2012.
This is an in-house position located in San Antonio, Texas, at the National Shooting Complex, headquarters of the NSCA and NSSA.
The NSCA/NSSA Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director, while working closely with the NSCA and NSSA Directors and Member Clubs from both organizations.
The Marketing Coordinator will perform various tasks such as collateral development, customer satisfaction analysis, sales programs, product development, and service programs.
The Marketing Coordinator will:
1. Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field of social media.
2. Work with the organizational committees to assure that the organization has a well-defined long-range marketing strategy to achieve its mission and growth goals.
3. Promote active and broad participation by volunteers in all areas of the organizations’ work.
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible to:
1. Develop and manage a social media plan to assist member clubs with resources such as, but not limited to, Groupon, Living Social, and Facebook.
2. Publicize the activities of the organization — internally to staff, to our membership, and the volunteer field organizations, as well as externally to the press and industry partners.
3. Establish sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements with industry leaders, industry groups and organizations.
4. Represent the programs and points of view of both organizations to agencies, other organizations, and the general public.
The Marketing Coordinator will:
1. Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices.
2. Work with the Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer, and organizational committees to prepare an annual budget, and monitor the same on an ongoing basis to ensure that the department operates within approved budget parameters.
